HAPPY BIRTHDAY SEA MONKEY!!(:
today's the sea monkey's 16th. she's so tiny. but she's older than me. oh what the heck, not that it really matters anyway. but yes. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EVE DEAREST!!(: I'M MARIA, JARED'S MAID, AND SHE'S HIS SEA MONKEY. or some whacked up thing like that. yeahhh. opti days!
MG INTERHOUSE X-COUNTRY.
i walked the whole thing, the whole darned thing. yeahhh. mandy and i did. BY THE WAY, WE WEREN'T LAST. there were like 3 other people behind us, not including mrs yap and gang, and they were like studying history or something. see! that's what i call productive(: SO YES. it was rather hilarious, to be honest. mandy brought a packet of cheezels (sp?). and she was like happily munching along. yupp! and well, i was chowing down my cheese sandwich on olive bread. in case you were wondering, i dont quite like olive bread. and olive bread with CHEESE is just plain weird. but there was no normal bread at home, so i had no choice. so yeah. i was kinda told to like keep my sandwich, but well, guess who couldn't care less. i had no intetion of actually running/jogging anyway. if it was perfectly horizontal, i may have had a change of heart. i really can't stand running downhill and uphill. it's annoying. uphill's just plain tiring, and downhill busts my knees. they're busted enough, thank you. YUPP. cross country was rather hilarious. qi and sylv brought their unbrellas along. AS IN, SERIOUSLY!!! it was so funny. i made sylv take out her umbrella, just so that i could get a shot of them walking with it. I CAN'T IMAGINE. it was rather funny. mr vincent ong was the guest of honour. yeah. i still find that rather odd. like yeah, i know he used to be our pe teacher, but that's precisely what's so strange about it. it's somewhat bittersweet. NOT THAT HIS PRESENCE WAS A BAD THING, IT REALLY WASN'T.

AFTER X-CTRY, I HAD TO GO DO CIP.
NOT BEFORE FIRST HAVING LUNCH, OF COURSE.
tay and i waited for hyung, while she had her netball meeting thing. kinda took a while, i was becoming increasingly impatient. it's the ice cream calling my name, it really is. so yeah. we walked all the way to guthrie and went to venezia for ice cream. YUMM!(: i had peanutbutter &crunchy choc nut, or whatever that flavour's called. YEAH. I LOVE VENEZIA'S PEANUTBUTTER ICE CREAM!!! I THINK IT'S THE BEST!(: simply cause well, not many other places serve it. it's so beyond good. my adoration of all things associated with peanut butter is very frightening. what can i say? if it wasn't fattening/unhealthy, i would live off it(: HAHA. yeah right. the crunchy choc nut thing's pretty darn good too. i like the crunchy nonsense inside. i think it's like well, CHOCOLATE WAFER SHIZZES OR SOMETHING! yupp! good stuff, good stuff. after that, we went to simplybread. yeah. PRIOR TO TODAY, I'VE NEVER HEARD OF IT IN MY LIFE. the sandwich mandy and i shared was dry, and bland. not good. BUT ON THE OTHER HAND, THEIR STICKY BUNS ARE TO DIE FOR!!! sticky bun: a cinnamon roll drenched in some honey + cinnamon glaze. I HAD TWO TODAY, kinda felt a bit sick after having them. but yeah, sugar rush!!(: I THINK I'M GOING TO HAVE THEIR STICKY BUNS TOMORROW, OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT(: better make it quick!(:
WENT TO SCHOOL WITH PAMME, HYUNG, MANDY.
PAM HAD SOME SQUASH THING.
HYUNG HAD TRAINING.
MANDY JUST FOLLOWED ALONG.
I HAD CIP.
i was so reluctant to go for cip. i just wanted to go home and sleep, OR EAT EVEN MORE STICKY BUNS! yeah. i owe mandy tay $6.50. but well, miss kek put dah and i incharge of cip. we're like the "CIP COORDINATORS", or something like that. so i had no choice but to go for cip. THE WHOLE ADMIN SIDE OF THINGS JUST TOTALLY ANNOY ME. i'm not a very administrative person. i'm more of the social sort. yes. i like being told what to do, or to be left alone to talk to people. yupp! but alright, i had no other choice. i was in school half an hour early, cause pam and hyung had to get to school by one o'clock. kinda leaned against a pillar and played bubble breaker till 13:20, when fang came. together, we patiently waited for everyone else to come before heading up the bus.
the ride to where-ever-the-place-is was short. my time was spent between talking to dah and indulging in a tootsie roll manda gave me. once we got there, i felt the stress immediately. mainly cause i had no idea what we were going to do and how we were going to do it. IT WAS FAR WORSE WHEN I FIRST GLANCED AT THE OLD FOLKS, THEY LOOKED BORED. but okay. after a while, we kinda settled down, and i kinda forced miss kek to do all the explaining and stuff. I JUST COULDN'T TAKE IT. it: having to converse with people purely in mandrin and well, some form of singlish as well. so yes. i settled down with this adorable old lady. she was nice. she told me lotsa random stuff, and we ended up having a rather nice conversation(: THE GAMES WERE ALRIGHT, BUT SOME STATIONS MOVED ALONG FAR QUICKER THAN EXPECTED, LEADING TO SOME PROBLEMS. but other than that, it was good(: SO YEAH. in the end, we kinda hung around with some of the old folks. they're adorable little things, they really are! there was this one auntie who'd like sing songs to us in hainanese (sp?). NO ONE UNDERSTOOD A WORD, but it's alright. she meant well(:

we'll be back to visit them on the 28th/29th of march. i can't say that i'm terribly excited, but i'm sure it wont be too bad(:
then well, i was kinda meant to jog home with jing, but we were kinda heading in opposite directions. oh well. so in the end, we just dropped off at farrer market and i headed home from there. every time i think of farrer market, i think of that sweet rice krispy thing that's the best waste of calories ever!!(:
photos!!! :D
