i didn't post yesterday cause mum was ironing by this puddle of water [why on earth she'd do that is competely beyond me] and well, you can probably guess what happened...

just some stuff about yesterday.

IT'S OFFICIAL: i'm in love with Elinor Klivans. her cookbook things are amazing! YEAH. mandy got me one on cupcakes when she went to visit her marmen last year. THANKS BESTIE!!<3 and well, partly out of sheer boredom, i picked it up and decided to read every single recipie that seemed mouth watering and delicious. apparently, 90% of the recipes fall in that category of decadence. Elinor's much like Nigella, they're uncannily alike. both of them talk about cupcakes in such an expressive manner, though Elinor uses far less ostentatious vocabulary (not that there's anything wrong with that, really). their homely and informal writing style makes their cookbooks ever more delightful reads. I'M A REAL HAPPY SOUL(:

"Nobody's ever made baking history with a scrawny cookie."
and that's why i want Big Fat Cookies by Elinor Klivans so badly. cause we all know, i'm gonna make baking history :D

all this talk about chocolate glaze, chocolate frosting, pale yellow goodness, crumbly vanilla shortcake in cupcake form, etc, makes me happy. i think just talking about chocolate and such delectable all-day food puts me at ease. i'm beginning to think that i have some strange connection with such things, like i'm able to communicate with them. YES, I ENJOY COMMUNICATING WITH INANIMATE & EDIBLE OBJECTS, JUST IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING. but it's true. as of now, i'm pretty darn certain this is what i'm meant to do with my life, and well, i'd love to claim that i'd make the world a far better place, and that cupcakes shall prevent and/or solve all wars, and that we'll live in a widespread realm of peace and euphoria. [no matter how much i love the word estacy, i've suddenly realised that it instils a fairly unnatural & eerie sensation.]

cupcakes and all other self-indulgent commodities shall reign supreme.

ABOUT MY DAY,
SCHOOL WAS BORING, I WAS TIRED. GEL WAS TIME WELL SPENT READING BAZAAR. MANDY AND JOANNA AND I CABBED TO HAATO, THE TAXI DUDE'S HEARING WAS IMPAIRED. HAD A WAFFLE. WENT TO GRAB SOME PIZZA (MOZZARELLA & SALAMI). WENT UP TO DO MATH.
EXERCISE 15.5, QUESTION 11 WAS SUCH A PAIN.
